- handwritten notes - copies of The Ballad of Thomas Talbot, composed by Walter Bazley - numerous drawings or sketches, presumably by Hugh Sims - 25 typed pages from the original version of Sims History, entitled Port Talbot Colonel Thomas Talbot - booklet about Malahide Castle in Ireland - "Sir Richard Airey" a paper by Mary Earnshaw, delivered to the Elgin Historical Society, April 1969 - photocopy of a newspaper interview with Walter C. Lewis about Colonel Talbot's last night and that his body was not left in a stable, no date on the newspaper - 5 typed pages "Talbot Plaque September 11, 1971" - assorted newspaper articles and photocopies of articles - copy of a plan drawn by Lewis Burwell in 1813 showing the buildings and layout at Port Talbot - three black and white pictures - twelve colour pictures -stamp stating "Port Talbot 10 Nov. 1831" (from Accession 2008-1)
