- This is a wooden gavel and sound block. Part a: This gavel consists of a long handle and wooden mallet with a gold plaque on it that says "Presented to THE VILLAGE OF PORT STANLEY By Dave LaCroix, Clerk 1972-1989". Part b: This sound block consists of a circular wooden platform that acts as a base and enhances sound when struck with the gavel.
