This is a small rectangular plaque consisting of a dark wood base with a white plaque on the front that includes the Canada Communities in Bloom logo and the text "Central Elgin 2004 Heritage Award Heritage Port" printed in black. On reverse is a sticker with the Ansell's Awards & Specialties logo on it.

Item History
The Canada Communities in Bloom program consists of communities receiving information and being evaluated either provincially or nationally by a volunteer jury of trained professionals on the accomplishments of their entire community (municipal, private, corporate and institutional sectors, citizens) on six key criteria: Community Appearance, Environmental Action, Heritage Conservation, Tree Management, Landscape and Plant & Floral Displays.
