- Description
- Michigan Central Railroad employee's excursion ribbon. Blue ribbon with silver text. It reads, "Michigan - Central Railroad - C. S. Division - Employe's 28th Annual Excusion - Detriot, Mich. - July 18. 1903". In the center of the ribbon, a white button with a gilted edge. In the center of the button is an illustration of a steam locomotive. The ribbon, at the top, has a gold bar pin. The bar pin has a gilted edge. In the center of it, "Committee". On the back of the ribbon there is a piece of white paper. The paper has black text and reads, "This badge manufactured by The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Makers of badges, buttons, banners, signs, and advertising novelties. Main office and factory Newark, N. J. All goods guranteed union made..."
