- Postcard of the Methodist Church in Springfield, located on the south side of the Main Street, c. 1915. This photograph shows the original tower before it was replaced. A woman can be seen crossing the road with a baby carriage and a child following her. The Methodist Church in Springfield was established in 1879. The church later becomes, and as of 2018 still operates as, St. John’s United Church.
Reverse addressed to Mr and Mrs. J.T. Richardson. Postmarked at Springfield September 20, 1917. Message, "Hello everybody: Did you get (...) all night with out the gifts. The (...) wedding and then our big (...) will be about our. All (...) well. (...) Love to all, May"
