- Description
- Framed lithographic print of an advertisement for Ferry's Seeds. The advertisement features a woman in a dark environment with short blonde hair, a long necklace and earrings, and a blue blouse. There is a large jack-o'-lantern on a table or platform in front of her, facing the viewer. The top of the pumpkin sits to the left on the table. The woman holds a light inside the pumpkin, attached to a green cord which trails out of the image to the right. The word's "FERRY'S SEEDS" is at the top of the image in a light orange or yellow font, and the top of the woman's head overlaps with the text. The artist's signature is at the bottom left of the print, legible as "ANDERSON." The image has a mottled black matting, with a gold-coloured inner border. Displayed in a wooden frame and overlaid with glass. The wood of the frame is stained a dark brown. The back of the frame is covered in a thin, brown paper. A wire runs across the back of the frame, attached to a loop at either side.
