- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published September 28, 1976 with caption: "Young Humane Society Workers Honored - Penny Harris (right) vice-president of the Elgin County Humane Society presented four junior members with awards for their help in the Society's tag day held in St. Thomas last Saturday. The society raised $400, which will be used to fight animal cruelty and neclect of animals. Receiving their awards, from left, are: Donald Roberts, who tagged for six hours and 15 minutes; Cindy Barber, Karen Moore, both tagging for six hours and 30 minutes; and Clifton Somerville, who tagged for nine hours and 15 minutes."
