- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 13, 1973 with caption: "Mobile Animal Hospital - The first mobile veterinary clinic in Canada (built by the Ontario Humane Society) visited St. Thomas Tuesday, and treated some 31 animals for various problems. Here Dr. Kenneth Easton, D.V.M., a staff veterinarian with the Ontario society, takes a look at "Lassie," a six-week-old collie, while her proud owners, seven-year-old Valerie and five-year-old Timmy Cross, look on. The two children, with their mother, Mrs. Jeanette Cross, of RR 5, St. Thomas, went to the clinic to get a distemper shot for the puppy."
