- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 10, 1970 with caption: "The Inexorable Needle - Barney does not appear to be grateful for his free rabies vaccination, but the operation happens so fast that indignant pets and anxious owners really don't suffer at all. In control of the situation is Dr. J. C. Dancey, Sub-District Veterinarian of the Canadian Department of Agriculture, health of animals division. Barney, not yet a year old, is being comforted by his owner, Mrs. Henry Wyse, 94 Park Avenue."
