- Three black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 25, 1982 with captions:
- "Work at Grand Central Continues - A dump truck from Proctor Bros. Trucking and Excavating of London, receives a load of earth from a front-end loader as digging continued on the foundation at the site of the future commercial-residential complex under construction on Talbot Street between Elgin and Metcalfe Wednesday. Additional pictures on front page section." (14a)
- "Bringing in Reinforcements - Workmen from Alwell Forming of London begin to unload bundles of steel reinforcing rods to be used in the foundation of a building under construction at the former Grand Central Hotel site on Talbot Street, by hand, from a flatbed trailer, Wednesday afternoon [14b]. The task proved to be a little more than they could handle, however, and they were forced to call in reinforcements, top photo [14c], of their own. After manuevering over a pair of wires, the tracked front-end loader shifted into position to lend the men a hand." (14b & 14c)
