- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 24, 1958 with captions:
- "Unveiled at Museum - The famous "Blue Dress" will be on display at the Elgin County Pioneer Museum starting June 2. A series of daily teas will be held through the week included June 7, to introduce the beautiful addition to the museum collection." (11a)
- "Susan Paul Lived Here - The owner of the "Blue Dress" lived in this house at the base of Stanley Street Hill. It was owned by a prominent merchant and mill owner, Eltham Paul, who outfitted his daughter in the dress which made her the "belle of the ball."" (11b)
