- Scope and Content
- Black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 2, 1979 with caption: "Taking Display to Schools - The Aylmer and District Museum has completed its "mobile education kit", with the help of a federal Canada Works grant, and will now be taking it to various schools in the area and beyond. Here Rebecca Rowley, a new employee with the museum, chats with Dan Bradley, the establishment's carpenter-designer, who constructed the roll-around cabinet seen here. The cabinet contains fashions of the late 19th cenutry, as well as the historical background. For $5, schools in Elgin County can have representatives from the museum visit classes and demonstrate fashions."
