- Three black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 23, 1979 with captions:
- "Tea for Two - Tea in a Victorian parlor was as much a part of life in the 1890s as a cocktail party is today. Here, Loretta Thompson, a lecturer and conversation assistant at the Aylmer and District Museum, models a shawl and hat of the day, while the mannequin, attired in the street clothes of the day, remains, as did most Victorian ladies, seen and not heard. The extensive display of Victorian memorabilia is available for all to see until May 4." (9a)
- "Fans of the Day - Pat Zimmer, manager of the Aylmer and District Museum, displays the ornate fans that were an integral part of the fashionable Victorian lady's wardrobe." (9b)
- "Window Shopping - Dan Bradley, carpenter-designer for the Aylmer and District Museum, views some of the apparel one might expect to see in a tailor's shop window at the turn of the century."(9c)
