- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 20, 1974 with caption: "Elected Executive Officials - These are the three executive members of the Aylmer and District Museum Board elected Tuesday night at an organizational meeting in Aylmer. From left, Mrs. Levona Bembridge, was voted secretary, Ben Cowan, chairman and Mrs. Mary Sheppard, vice chairman. A seven-member board (two Councillors and five local citizens) was appointed by Aylmer Council to manage the museum project in the town. There is presently a building, that was purchased by Council located on East Street that will be used for the museum. Also, chairmen of working committees were appointed at the meeting Tuesday."
