- Black and white photograph showing Flt. Sgt. George E. Moore, Shedden, killed in action in the Second World War. Notes included in the Shedden Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History Book, Volume 1: "George E. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Moore, was born in Shedden, April 28, 1920. He enlisted in February 1943, trained in Brandon and Montreal. He graduated as an air gunner from Monte Joli, Quebec, in July 1943, going overseas in August 1943. After several operational flights over Germany he was transferred to the Pathfinder Squadron. He was missing on June 29, 1944."
