- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published December 2, 1968 with captions:
- "Complete Six Clubs - Nine West Elgin girls, members of 4-H Homemaking Clubs, were given their county honors certificates and pins during Achievement Day, held Saturday in West Elgin District High School, West Lorne. The project, Sleeping Garments, was recently completed. Recipients were (back row, left to right) Sharon Myers, 14, RR 3, Dutton; Charlene McDonald, 14, Wallacetown; Vannie Braam, 18, Lawrence Station; Brenda Spicer, 15, Shedden; Brenda Hagerty, 14, RR 1, Southwold; (front left to right) Pat Cowan, 14, Wallacetown; Dawn Ostrander, 14, RR 1, Iona Station; Susan Campbell, 14, RR 1, Iona Station. Karen Bogart, RR 4, Iona Station, who also received her county honors, was not present when the picture was taken." (54a)
- "Provincial Honors - The completion of twelve projects meant the winning of provincial honors for four West Elgin 4-H Homemaking Club members who were presented with their certificates and pins during Saturday's Achievement Day program. The event, with its topic on the recently completed project, Sleeping Garments, was held in West Elgin District High School, West Lorne. Jane Buchan, 17, RR 4, Iona Station, is seated and standing, left to right, are Diane Bedford, 17, Wallacetown; Betty Ann Bobier, 18, RR 1, Iona Station; Jean McNaughton, 17, RR 4, Iona Station."
