- "Leading Club Scorers - Four 4-H Club members obtaining the highest score in their own clubs were honored last night at the annual Kiwanis 4-H banquet. Trophies were presented to (left to right) Keith Carroll, Aldborough 4-H Club; Lyle McLean, Shedden 4-H Club; John Gosnell, Wallacetown 4-H Club; Peggy Martin, East Elgin 4-H Club; Bill Brokenshire, Shedden 4-H Dairy Club; Dave Bobier, Elgin 4-H Sheep Club; James Ford, West Elgin 4-H Swine and Field Crop Club; Gilbert Smith, Elgin 4-H Tractor Club. Absent when photo was taken are Beth Stansell, Corinth 4-H Club, and David House, Central Elgin 4-H Club." (28a)
