- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 11, 1958 with caption: "Hydro Construction Nears Completion - Work on the new area office and service buildings to be occupied by Ontario Hydro Electric Power Commission in Aylmer is rapidly being completed. Hydro officials expect to move from present quarters on Myrtle Street within the next three to four weeks. The fine new buildings are located on No. 73 Highway just north of the town on the site of the present transformer station. General contractor is the Aylmer firm of Hendriks and Herman. Construction was started last fall."
