- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published September 16, 1974 with caption: "Dressed For The Occasion - Princess Avenue Christian Church celebrated its 110th Anniversary, Sunday. To commemorate the occasion, many of the congregation came to church dressed in costumes appropriate for 110 years ago. From left, are Mrs. Doris Rayner of 86 Gladstone Avenue, who great-grandparents were some of the founders of Princess Avenue Church; Rev. Ron Dakin; Mrs. Charline Charton of 106 Wellington Street, chairman of the anniversary committee; Rev. R. K. Leland, executive minister of the Christian Church in Canada, who was the guest speaker, Sunday; Mrs. Grace Dakin, and Mrs. Herbert Goldsmith of 8 Scott Street, church organist."
