- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 25, 1966 with caption: "Clothes For India - Last evening, the members of the Christian Women's Fellowship of the Church of Christ (Disciples) held an India Night, when garments made by the group for use in a hospital in Bilaspur, were on display. The vast amount of work and skill that went into the competition of the various articles was evident, and variety is the keynote, for the items range from bandages and bedgowns to pretty dressed for small girls. Shown, left to right, as they examine a sample of the handiwork, are Miss Alice Porter, a missionary from India, who is associated with the hospital which is the special project for the local C W F; Miss Gertrude Fowler, Mrs. Harold Spry, Mrs. John MacArthur and Miss Freda Hux."
