- "A Time For Fellowship - The renewing of acquaintances, greeting guests from near and far and discussing events in the life of the church were part of a fellowship hour that closed the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Church of Christ (Disciples), St. Thomas, on Sunday night. Enjoying the hour are, left to right, W. H. Luton, chairman of the anniversary committee; Miss Erica Ann Metcalfe of Unionville, a daughter of a former member; Rev. W. M. Kennedy, pastor of the church, and Dr. E. V. Metcalfe of London, a former member."(2a)
- "Prominent At Banquet - Members of the Church of Christ (Disciples), St. Thomas, former members and friends gathered on Saturday night at Central United Church for the 100th anniversary banquet of the Church of Christ in this city. Chatting prior to the banquet are, left to right, seated, Mrs. H. A. Vicary of St. Thomas, who joined the church in 1908; Miss Florence Campbell of Toronto, a former member; Mrs. Charles Chute of St. Thomas, who joined in 1907. Standing, left to right: J. C. Black, chairman of the church's general board; Rev. O. W. Wells of North Hollywood, California, a former minister at the church, and W. R. Coulter, a member of the church for more that 60 years."(2b)
