- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 6, 1960 with caption: "Church Honors Workers - Members of the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church honored the workers of the Christian Education program at the church, with a complimentary dinner prepared by the Crescent Circle of the Ladies Aid. The workers invited included Sunday School leaders from both Knox and Forest avenue schools, Scout, Cub, Explorers and C. G. I. T. leaders, and the Clansmen and Clanettes. Over 100 people attended the dinner, including the members of the session and their wives, and Rev. Harry S. Rodney, minister of the church presided. William R. Cavanaugh, superintendent of Knox Sunday School expressed the thanks to the Crescent Circle, Andrew S. Chisholm, chairman of the Christian Education Committee brought greetings from the committee, and Mrs. Alex Lyle expressed the thanks of the Christian Education Workers to the Session. The workers honored at last night's dinner are shown above and include, left to right, front row, Margaret Durst, Donna Campbell, Ruth Kelso, Sharon Bowman, Nell Campbell, Jean Funnell, Claire Young, Gayle Freeman, Alberta Hamilton and Mr. Cavanaugh. In the second row are Mrs. Robert Boyle, Mrs. Archie Roberts, Barbara Foster, Lynda Edwards, Margaret Chapman, Joyce Hume, Mrs. Marie Chaplow, Mrs. Margaret Gloin, Mrs. Margaret Medlyn, Mrs. Margaret Kerr and Dr. Mary Webster. Standing at the rear are, Archie Roberts, Wayne Chaplow, Fred Roberta, Lloyd Pressey, Mrs. Harold Calvert, Raymond Funnell, Mrs. Donald Tolmie, Mrs. Jay Kenyon, Mrs. Alex Lyle, Mrs. Curtis Kline, Donald McCuaig, Mrs. Richard Hodges, Lillian Ross, Grant Fergusson, Mrs. William Burger and Mrs. Mel Russell.
