- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 21, 1973 with caption: "Shown is an exterior view of the Boy Scout House at Port Burwell, which is to be opened tonight. The building has undergone renovations. Tonigh's opening which will be marked by a ribbon cutting at 7:30 p.m. The building, located on the Lakeshore Road just east of Highway 19, has been named for Sid Shelly, of Port Burwell, a Scout leader for many years."
