- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 24, 1960 with caption: "Founder Honored - In a solemn and colorful service held Sunday at the Christ Church in Port Stanley, residents honored their founder, Lt.-Col. John Bostwick, with the dedication of a plaque in his name. In the above photo the Hon. Byron L. Cathcart, Ontario Minister of travel and publicity, is shown unveiling the bronze plaque. The descendents of Col. Bostwick who attended the service included Mrs. Jane Bostwick, of Tomasi, Mich., great grand-daughter; Anne Conley, of Lavonia, Mich., great-great grand-daughter; Mrs. Marion (Bostwick) Henderson, of Royal Oak, Michigan., great grand-daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bostwick, of Wheatley."
