- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published October 31, 1958 with caption: "Huron Diocese Budget Meeting - At a large gathering of Anglican clergy, church wardens, lay delegates to Synod and their substitutes held Thursday evening at Christ Church, Port Stanley, the 1959 budget for the Diocese of Huron was presented by Archdeacon Carman J. Queen, of London, Ont., Huron diocesan commissioner. Rev. Canon A. J. Jackson, of Toronto, director of the information and stewardship for the Anglican Church of Canada was the speaker. In the above photo, a number of prominent Elgin Deanery churchmen are grouped, among them Rev. Fred A. Gadd, rector of the Church of the Nativity, Dutton; Fred Gladding, Trinity Church, St. Thomas; H. D. Prior, of St. Johns Church, St. Thomas; Rev. F. E. Bishop rector of St. Luke's Church Yarmouth Heights; W. Reid Donkin, Trinity Church, St. Thomas; James A. Quinn, Christ Church, Port Stanley; Clifford Stewart, St. Hilda's Church, St. Thomas; C. W. Mumford, Grace Church, West Lorne; B. E. Downey, church of the Nativity, Dutton; Kenneth Turnbull, Christ Church. Port Stanley, and W. C. Miller, Trinity Church, St. Thomas. Rev H. R. Rokeby-Thomas, rector of Christ Church and host to the gathering, was standing, unfortunately, just out of the picture to the left."
