- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 3, 1961 with caption: "Seven members of Locke's Community Scout Troop No. 13, St. Thomas, were presented with their Queen's Scout badges in a brief ceremony at Grace United Church last night (March 2, 1961). The seven boys are the first to receive the badges since the troop was organized eight years ago. They had all attended the same cob pack together, graduating into the Scout troop and finally the high award together. Shown in the above photo as they received the badges from District Commissioner G. G. Morgan, are, front row left to right, John McCormick, Keith Baker, and Richard Carr. Back row, William Prickett, Steve Anderson, William Phetteplace, and Ronald MacPherson."
