- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published October 24, 1959 with caption: "Nine members of the First St. Thomas Cub Pack on Central United Church graduated into the Scout Troop at the annual father and son banquet on Thursday evening. In the above photo, the new cubs prepare to enter the troop. Each of the candles in the foreground represents one Scout law. From left to right in front row, are Kenneth Brown R.R.1, Union; Brian brooks, 22 Brant street; Richard Boyle, 14 Mabel street; David Tales, R.R. 1, St. Thomas; Robert Borkwood, 10 Forest avenue, and Ricky Moyer, 4 Mabel street; second row, Michael Chater, 286 Ross street, and Phillip Vannatter, 62 Balaclava street, and Donald mathers, 138 Wellington streets.
