- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published December 8, 1966 with caption: "Burning the Mortgage - A special mortgage burning ceremony was held last evening at Centre Street Baptist Church now that the mortgage on the church's Christian Education Building has been paid off. Taking part in the ceremony were left to right, Dr. A. R. Post, chairman of the building committee; Harry Stirling, chairman board of trustees; Dr. E. L. Brown, vice-chairman of the building committee; John H. Ricketts, chairman board of management; Harry Judd, Simcoe, president of the Baptist Convention, Ontario and Quebec, speaker; Rev. R. D. Harmer, minister of the church."
