- Three black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 29, 1968 with captions:
- "Queen's Scouts - In a special ceremony Saturday in Aylmer at East Elgin Secondary School 108 Boy Scouts received the Queen's Scout Certificate from Deputy International Commissioner J. W. H. Miner. In making the presentations, he challenged the scouts to be part of a generation which remembered as adults how to understand. The scouts are pictured prior to the presentations in the school gymnasium-auditorium. Eight boys from St. Thomas and one from Aylmer were among the award winners." (11a)
- "Official Guests - Deputy International Commissioner John William Miner (extreme left) talked with members of the official party Saturday concerning the effect of the Scouting movement on an International scope. The occasion was the presentation of 108 Queen's Scouts Awards at East Elgin Secondary School in Aylmer. Members of the official guest party, left to right, are: Russell McKibbon, Mayor of Aylmer; A. B. McCallum, Warden of Elgin; W. R. Skelton, Assistant Provincial Commissioner to the Great Lakes Region; G. N. Colledge, St. Thomas Fire Chief and honorary president of the Elgin District." (11b)
- "Shop Talk - Prior to the presentation Saturday of Queen's Scouts Certificates, Deputy International Commissioner John William Miner (extreme right) took time out to talk with some of the Boy Scouts from Elgin County who were to receive the award. Left to right, the Scouts are: Angus McKenzie, Donald Schweyer, Richard Cornish, Larry Ryckman and John Edwards. Angus and Richard belong to the 13th St. Thomas Troop while John and Larry are memberf of the 11th St. Thomas Troop. Donald belongs to the 1st Aylmer Troop." (11c).
