- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published November 11, 1970 with caption: "A Time of Remembrance - Remembrance Day Services were held today at 11 a.m. at cenotaphs throughout the county. Scenes similar to the Branch 41 of the Royal Canadian Legion color party performing the General Salute to the war dead in front of the Pearl Street Cenotaph (above) were common. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion branch 41 of St. Thomas and veterans of both world wars stood silent in formation as the wreaths were laid."
