- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published November 6, 1969 with caption: "Prepare Cross - Final preparations on the Cross of Remembrance were being made this morning at the Branch 41 Legion Hall. The cross bears memorial cards and poppies of remembrance which are placed there by widows, mothers and relatives of soldiers who died in war. Preparing the cross are (left to right) Roy Singleton, Ed Callaghan and Victor Wheeler. The cross will be placed at the cenotaph during Sunday's Remembrance Day service."
