- "Outstanding Cadet - Lance-Corporal John McDougall was yesterday chosen the outstanding cadet on parade at the annual inspection of the Central Elgin Collegiate Institute cadet corps. Out of the four squadrons, L-Cpl. McDougall was judged the most alert, well-turned-out cadet. He receives congratulations from Western Ontario cadet headquarters representative, Captain C. J. F. - "Top Officer on Parade - The distinction of being the best officer or senior N.C.O. on parade at yesterday's annual inspection of the central Elgin Collegiate Institute cadets went to Cadet Major Brian Worts, a Grade 11 student.
