- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 18, 1980 with caption: "A Cheque for Pediatrics Ward - The St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital was presented with a cheque for $1,000 by the liturgy committee of Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church recently. The money was raised during the committee's Advent-Christmas celebrations, the theme of which was "Bless the Child", with one Sunday reserved for donations of cash into an empty crib. Shown accepting the cheque, which will go for new equipment in the pediatric ward, is Hospital Executive Director Jon Skafel. The women, from the left, are Lorna Wilton, head pediatric nurse, Jo Ann Dunn, head of the liturgy committee, and Patty Cochrill, another committee member."
