- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published January 19, 1981 with caption: "Historic Site - Port Burwell's Trinity Anglican Church was built in 1837 [sic] with the financial assistance of village founder Lieutenant-Colonel Mahlon Burwell. It's a popular attraction for tourists visiting the area." The church was actually constructed in 1836.
