- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 8, 1956 with caption: "Church Dedication Sunday (June 10, 1956) - Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Lorne, will be dedicated at special services on Sunday (in German at 11 a.m., and English at 3 p.m.) by the church pastor, Rev. John Scharrer. It has been erected during the past year at a cost of about $44,000, much of the work being done by the volunteer labor of the congregation. It was first used for worship Christmas Day, but the finishing touches weren't put on till this spring. The public is invited to the dedication, and to the vesper service at 7:30 p.m. Special speakers will be present for all three services of the day."
