- Black and white photograph showing the exterior of the Empire Grist Mill, Wallacetown, circa 1940s. Shown at right is Fred Kourtz, engineer. Notes included in Wallacetown Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History, Volume 1, indicate that the mill was originally located on lots 14 and 15, Queen Street, Wallacetown, "then moved to its present location on the corner of Gordon and Rose Streets by owners George Turville and son."
