- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph showing the exterior of the William Flater saw and shingle mill, Rodney, Ontario, 1900. The mill was originally built by Robert Mowbray, circa 1885. The mill was sold successively, to J.H. Greer and Son, to Wright and Hay of Woodstock, and, in 1895, to William Flater. The mill was enlarged in 1903 to house a basket factory. A fire in 1911 destroyed the original mill, but the 1903 addition survived. Included in the Rodney Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History.
