- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 30, 1977 with caption: "26 Years at Timken - Reginald W. Thorpe, who joined Canadian Timken Limited in 1950, was honoured on his last day of work on Friday by friends and family. He was presented with gifts and a plaque. Taking part in the celebration were, from left, from Winnipeg, Norm Fowler and his wife Shirley, who is Mr. Thorpe's daughter; Norm Lawrence, Timken supervisor of corporate services; Mr. Thorpe; Lewis Hall, Timken general supervisor of shipping and stores; Mr. Thorpe's daughters Mrs. Donna Hodgins and Mrs. Brenda Hodgins, also of Winnipeg. Other family members who could not attend the presentation are daughter Mrs. marilyn Queen of Toronto; and sons Robert and Ronald Thorpe, both of St. Thomas."
