- "More Machines to be Added - There are at present 24 screw machines in this special building at the Timken plant and eight are to be added by May 1. Here from front to back are William Pardey, screw machine operator; Al Clarke, apprentice; and Dave Mitchener, operator." (C8 Sh4 B3 F2 8a)
- "Opened Last Year - This new precision grinding room was opened just last September at the Timken plant. The room is temperature controlled at 68 degrees.
