- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 20, 1977 with caption: "Elect New Officers- The Elgin West District of the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario held the annual meeting at the Chalmers United Church in West Elgin on Wednesday. The Cowal Women's Institute was hostess for the meeting at which a slate of new officers was elected. Among the 75 women who attended the meeting were special guests from outside the County. In the rear from left are Mrs. Elgin MacIntyre new public relations officer for the West Elgin District; Mrs. Bruce McMillan, secretary-treasurer for the district who was reinstalled; Mrs. Russell Campbell, new president of the Elgin West District; Mrs. Keith Hiepleh, provincial board director of Provincial sub-district No. 22; Mrs. Earl Morden, provincial secretary-treasurer of the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario and assistant secretary-treasurer of the Elgin West District; in the front from left are Mrs. Leonard Caffyn, president of the London District and Mrs. Elias Reck, past president of Elgin West District."
