- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published July 21, 1979 with caption: "First Of The '80s Engines- Ford Motor Company's Windsor (Ontario) engine plant has commenced production of a new 4.2-litre V-8 engine for use in selected 1980-model car lines. The engine, the smallest V-8 Ford will offer in 1980, is a smaller, lighter and more fuel-efficient version of the company's proven 5.0-litre engine. Production followed completion of a $100-million conversion program at the plant. Plant manager Leo F. Brown (left) and John A. Betti, vice-president- power train and chassis operations, took part in the 'Job One' start-up ceremonies."
