- Black and white photograph used (and an additional photograph not used) in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published January 26, 1972 with caption: "Pinto Station Wagons- Ford of Canada's newest contribution to the small car market- Pinto station wagons- are starting to leave the St. Thomas assembly plant by road and rail transport. Ford has not yet announced that such a vehicle exists. There was some speculation in December that the new car would be built at the St. Thomas plant but it was not confirmed at that time.
