- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 23, 1970 with caption: "300,000th Maverick- The 300,000th Maverick rolled off the line of the St. Thomas Ford Assembly Plant at 11:07 a.m. yesterday and the 300,000th customer was there to give it a test run. The buyer of the car, Arthur Cairncross of Burns' Pharmacy, in the city, will use the car as a delivery vehicle for the drug store. Shown with Mr. Cairncross (seated behind the wheel) are Jack Noble (left), a salesman at Fearn Ford in St. Thomas, and W. A. Agnew, material manager at the plant."
