- Four black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published July 22, 1957 with caption: "At Cedar Springs- The 150 Elgin Regiment (27 Armored Regt) cadets who are in summer training at the Armoury here went to Cedar Springs Range, Blenheim, Ontario at the weekend for a two-day weapon-firing course. The top picture shows the church parade held Sunday morning at which the units padre, Rev. M. R. Griffin, conducted the service [C8 Sh4 B1 F1 7a]. Work patching up targets in the butts after each shoot is shown in the left centre picture with Cadet Troopers Kornel Wasyluk and Bill Wilcox officiating [C8 Sh4 B1 F1 7b]. One of the more popular events at the camp-meal time- is seen in the right hand picture with cadets carrying away their loaded plates from the chow line [C8 Sh4 B1 F1 7c]. The lower picture was taken during Bren light machine gun firing practice with Lieut. Gordon Walls supervising the firing point [C8 Sh4 B1 F1 7d]."
