- Five black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 21, 1967 with captions: "Springfield Library- Surrounded by books, Mrs. Lahla Craik is ready to serve members of Springfield Library, located since 1951 in spacious quarters once used by village council. The library, first started in 1897, used to be near where the fire hall now stands." (C8 Sh5 B2 F12 5a)
