- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published October 28, 1961 with captions: "New County Library- Taken from Gladstone Avenue [St. Thomas], this photograph, shows the new $44,000 Elgin County Library. Landscaping is presently being carried out and the green grass will contrast pleasantly with the light brown brick and white woodwork of the building." (C8 Sh5 B2 F12 3a)
"Modern Interior- This interior picture of the library clearly shows the modern furnishings and fixtures used in the new building. The adequate office space is apparent with, to the rear, the steps leading into the library on the right, and, rear centre, the dinette for the staff. The bookshelves can be seen on the left of the photograph." (C8 Sh5 B2 F12 3b)
