- Three black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 13, 1961 with captions: "Registering- Entries in the 13th annual Elgin County Seed Fair and Crop Convention had already exceeded that of the two previous shows when the above photo was taken this morning. In the picture some of the men are shown registering their exhibits for the two-day show. Miss Edith Nimmo, secretary at the department of agriculture offices in St. Thomas, is taking the entries of Jim Elliott, of R.R. 5, Tillsonburg, on the right, and Harold Jenkins, of R.R. 3, St. Thomas, on the left." "Senior Seed Judging- Highlighting the opening day of the Seed Fair was the senior seed judging competition. In the above photo Ken Wright, assistant agricultural representative for Elgin County, John Curtis and Tom White, both of W.O.A.S. at Ridgetown (from left to right) are shown preparing the display for the contestants. "Judging Begins- The tobacco competition at the 13th annual Seed Fair which opened this morning at the St. Thomas-Elgin Memorial Community Centre showed a large entry for the third straight year. In the above photo the judges are beginning their preliminary examination of the entries.
