- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published December 22, 1967 with caption: "Red Cross Donates Gifts to Veterans - The Canadian Red Cross Society this week donated Christmas gifts to the 65 patients at the Ontario Hospital who are world war veterans. Shown here receiving a gift is a representative of the veterans, Norman Sparks, who was in World War II in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Taking part in the presentation are (left to right) Norman Sparks; Doctor K.M. McGregor, superintendent of the hospital; Miss H. Whitman, director of nursing; L.J.
