- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published December 9, 1954 with caption: "It Rolled and Rolled - Involved in an accident Wednesday night on the 8th Concession, Malahide, leading to R.C.A.F. Station Aylmer, a car driven by Fred Swance, 28 Victoria Street, Aylmer, ended up as pictured above after rolling completely over. A second car, driven by L. Groulx, Dingle Street, Aylmer, wound up in the ditch on the south side of the road. Neither driver was seriously injured and they were able to return to their homes after receiving medical treatment."
