- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 21, 1981 with caption: "Another One - This accident at the corner of Scott and East Streets resulted in one city woman being taken to hospital for treatment according to city police on the scene. The accident is the second at the corner in as many weeks and one of several this year. Recently, a petition from residents living in the area of the intersection was presented to council urging greater safety precautions at the intersection. Above, city constable Tom Hodges looks on as an unidentified man surveys damage to the van involved in the collision. No further details were available from police today."
